World Water Day - 22 March

World Water Day is held annually on 22 March as a means of focusing attention on the importance of freshwater and advocating for the sustainable management of freshwater resources.
An international day to celebrate freshwater was recommended at the 1992 United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED). The United Nations General Assembly responded by designating 22 March 1993 as the first World Water Day.
Each year, World Water Day highlights a specific aspect of freshwater. In 2013, in reflection of the International Year of Water Cooperation, World Water Day is also dedicated to the theme of cooperation around water and is coordinated by UNESCO in collaboration with UNECE and UNDESA on behalf of UN-Water.

Mother

A mother commands great respect from her family. She is to be obeyed, and venerated. The Qur’anic verses which talk about the rights of parents include the mother. However the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) has enjoined goodness to the mother even before the father. A man once came for advice to him, as to who he should be good to. The Prophet (S.A.W) advised him to do good to his mother again. Three times the man asked, and three times the Prophet (S.A.W) told him to do good to his mother. At the fourth time, the Prophet (S.A.W) told him to do good to his father. This well-known story clearly illustrates the position of the mother in Islam.♥ 

 ♥ A woman came to the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) and asked why going for Jihad was not obligatory on women. She was afraid that women were barred from achieving the great reward for those who fought and died in the way of the Almighty. The Prophet (S.A.W) explained to her that a woman was a fighter in Allah’s way from the time she became pregnant up to the time she delivered, and from the time she began breast-feeding till the time she stopped. If she died during that period, her position would be that of a martyr. To raise a virtuous child is one of the greatest good deeds. It continues to bring reward even after death.♥

Allah says in Sura Luqman:
 ♥And We have enjoined man in respect of his parents - his mother bears him with faintings upon faintings, and his weaning takes two years - saying : “Be grateful to Me and to both your parents, to Me is the eternal coming. (31:14)♥
And in Sura Ahqaf He says:
 ♥And We have enjoined on man doing of good to his parents; with troubles did his mother bear him and with troubles did she bring him forth; and the bearing and the weaning of him was thirty months. (46:15)♥ 

জীবন

জীবন মানে তো 
বয়ে চলা নদীর স্রোত
আর সাগরের উত্তাল তরঙ্গ।
জীবন মানে তো 
সর্বহারার বেঁচে থাকা 
আর অদম্যের সুষ্পষ্ট কথা।
জীবন মানে তো 
বিধবার বেঁচে থাকার সংগ্রাম
আর গর্জনের শব্দে নির্দয়ের ঘুম ভাঙ্গা।
জীবন মানে তো 
দারিদ্রকে আপন করে নেয়া
আর দুঃখ কষ্টকে সুলভে পাওয়া।
জীবন মানে তো
সময়ের সাথে সাথে আমরা একসাথে
হেটে যাব দূর বহুদূরে
যেখানে নীল পাখিরা আমাদের শান্ত করে।
জীবন মানে তো
জীবনের মাঝে নিজেকে খুঁজে বেড়ানো।
জীবন মানে তো
অনির্বান ছুটে চলা
অসীমের পথে
অজানার পথে...
অন্তহীন...........
জীবন মানে তো 
বিদ্বানের সত্যবাদী হওয়া
আর উদাস মনে কূজনের শব্দ শোনা।
জীবন মানে তো 
আসমানী রংয়ে নিজকে সাজিয়ে
কৃতজ্ঞ হয়ে বেঁচে থাকা।

Respect A Woman Because.... You can feel her
INNOCENCE in the form of a daughter
You can feel her CARE in the form of a sister
You can feel her WARMTH in the form of a friend

You can feel her PASSION in the form of a beloved You can feel her DEDICATION in the form of a wife
You can feel her DIVINITY in the form of a mother
You can feel her BLESSING in the form of a grandmother
Yet she is so TOUGH too...
Her heart is so TENDER... So NAUGHTY... So CHARMING...
So SHARING...
So MELODIOUS...
She is a WOMAN
And She is LIFE !!!

আমার মেঘলা আকাশ

ছনের উপর শুকনো পাতার মরমর শব্দে
যতই আমি আনমনা হইনা কেন,
বাতাসে দোল খাওয়া সবুজ পাতা গুলো দেখে
আনন্দে নেচে উঠে আমার ভাবুক মন।
মনে হয় যেন দিগন্তের নীল আকাশ ছুঁতে চায় আমাকে
নতুন স্বপ্নের ভারে আমি তেমন নুয়ে যাই
যেমন শিশিরের ভারে নুয়ে থাকে সবুজ ডগা।
আমি রাতের আঁধারে স্বপ্নের ডানা মেলে উড়ে বেড়াই
আমার মরচে ধরা স্মৃতিতে খেলা করে লাল সবুজের আলপনা।
ফুরফুরে বাতাস যেমন হতাশার পৃথিবীতে জাগায় নতুন আশার চর
আমাকে তেমন জাগাতে পারে নববধূর মেহেদী রাঙা হাতের ছোঁয়া।
আমি আলোকিত হতে চাই আমার আগামীর দিনগুলোতে
আমি জীবনকে সাজাতে চাই সন্ধ্যা তাঁরার মত উজ্জ্বল রঙে
হতে চাই রজনীগন্ধার মত সুন্দর,আমি চাই
পূর্ণিমার আলোময় সুখ গুলো প্রভাতের শিশিরের মত
জড়িয়ে থাকুক আমার এই জীবনে।

কঠিন এই জীবনের অচেনা এক সাধারণ পথিক আমি। ।।।বহতা নদীতে ঢেউ যেমন আসে আর যায় আমার স্বপ্নগুলোও তেমনিভাবে মাঝে মাঝে তীরে এসে ধাক্কা খেয়ে চলে যায়। নিষ্ঠুর বাস্তবতার কাছে আমি অসহায়। তবুও স্বপ্ন দেখি সুন্দর একটি জীবনের।

I participate in haram festivals, I call myself Muslim.
I don’t even know how to pray properly, I call myself Muslim.
I shave my beard and take off my hijab, I call myself Muslim.
My sense of clothing is revealing, I call myself Muslim.
My income is haram, I call myself Muslim.
I backbite with my friends, I call myself Muslim.
I don’t even end the night off with Qur’an rather I watch movies but I call myself Muslim.
We do not read and understand what ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) is written for us. instead we read text messages sent by our friends We call ourselves muslim.

Sounds familiar? Think about it: Was this the life of the Prophet Muhammad صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ? Is this what the Qur’an describes as a believers life?

IS THIS REALLY A MUSLIM?

Turn to ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) Worry about AKHIRAH. Do not enjoy the fake enjoyment of this world. We are umm'ah of the prophet Mohammad صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ, live life like how he lived. Offer prayers on time (namaz), understand Qur’an, be humble. Give zak'ah stay away from shirk, bid'ah and bad deeds.

ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) says:

“The life of this world is just the enjoyment of delusion”
[Surah Al-Imran 185]

Ya ALLAH سبحانه وتعالى Increase our Imaan so we can get up everyday without being lazy to pray our Salah to read the Qur'an to give Da'wah and to do all the things which you have ordered us. We don't want to go astray so please guide us so we can stay on your path and become a better Muslims...

অবকাশ

হাঁফিয়ে ওঠেছি আমি রুটিনে বাঁধা পড়া জীবনের সাথে থেকে থেকে
কর্তব্য-কর্মের একঘেয়েমি একটানা কাজে
কর্মের ছন্দ হয়েছে শ্লথ-গতি,হারিয়েছে বৈচিত্র্য।
ভাবছি,কখন ছুটির ঘন্টা বাজবে?
কখন মাতাল হাওয়ায় ভেসে বেড়াব আনন্দ উল্লাসের জোয়ারে।
আমার অভ্যস্ত জীবনের নেত্র-পল্লব আর পারছে না
আমি বেরিয়ে আসতে চাই,
প্রাত্যহিকতার মালিন্য স্পর্শ থেকে ,
যেখানে পাব কর্মের প্রেরণা,পাব শোকাতপ্ত প্রাণে সাত্বনা।
আমি চাই ভারাক্রান্ত মনের অবসান
চাই আলোর ঝলকানির মত একটু ক্ষণ বিরতি।
আমি দেখতে চাই গাছে গাছে ফুলের শোভা
নদী তরঙ্গের নৃত্যচপল ভঙ্গি আর
নক্ষত্রমন্ডলীর অপরুপ সজ্জা।
আমি চাই জীবনের ছন্দ,চলার গতি শক্তি
আমি চাই গতানুগতিকতার অবসান
হতে চাই হালকা,ঝরঝরে।

চেতনায় একাত্তর

৭১ এর আত্নত্যাগের চেতনা,
আমাদের সকল আন্দোলনের প্রেরণা।
৭১ এর চেতনা,
অন্যায় ও শোষণের কালো হাত গুঁড়িয়ে দেবার সাহস ও প্রেরণা।
৭১ এর চেতনা,
পরাধীনতার শৃঙ্খল ছিড়ে গণতান্ত্রিক সমাজের স্বপ্ন।
৭১ এর চেতনা,
বলিষ্ঠ আত্নপ্রত্যয়ের দৃঢ় উচ্চারণ।
৭১ এর চেতনা,
মানবধিকার রক্ষার প্রত্যাশা।
৭১ এর চেতনা,
অধিকার আদায়ে আত্নসচেতন হওয়ার প্রেরণা।
৭১ এর চেতনা,
দেশপ্রেমে বিকশিত হয়ে বিস্তৃতির পথে হেঁটে চলার প্রেরণা।

সত্য ও ন্যায়ের পথে টিকে থাকার পত্যয়।

মানব জীবনের পরিপূর্ণতার আলোকবর্তিকা।

সকল প্রলোভনকে দমন করে সত্যের পথে অবিচল থাকার ইচ্ছাশক্তি।

দুর্নীতিমুক্ত কল্যাণমূলক শাসনব্যবস্থা প্রতিষ্ঠার লক্ষ্যে এগিয়ে যাওয়ার ঘোষণা। 

একদিন অপরাহ্নে

একদিন অপরাহ্নে,বসে আছি নীরবে খেয়াঘাটের পাশে
দেখছি ক্ষয়িষ্ণু নদী,আর শুনছি কাকলির গান।
আর ভাবছি,
না না,কিচ্ছু হবে না আমাকে দিয়ে
আমি তো নিষ্ফলা গাছের মত
ষোড়শী কিন্তু অরক্ষণীয়া নারীর মত
ফেলনা ফুলদানির মত জুগুপ্সিত।
হটাৎ একটি জবানী
তেপান্তর থেকে বলে উঠল
না না তা কেন হবে-
বন্ধুর পথ পেরিয়ে,অকুতোভয় চিত্তে
ক্ষণজন্মার মত অনিন্দ তুমি।

অনুপম এক বিকেল

অংশুমানের কিরণহীন অনুপম এক বিকেল
বসে আছি নির্জনে এলোকেশী অচিন মনে
আজ নেই কোন রিক্ততা,ব্যর্থতা অথবা মূঢ়তা
আছে শুধু দীপ্তি,ঝেড়ে ফেলে সব যাতনা।
হে ঈশিতা,
আকুল মিনতি আজ তোমার কাছে
কিঞ্চিৎ হলেও ঠাঁই দিও তোমার হৃদয়ে আমায়।
আমি ঋজু,
আমি বুঝি না কোন তনয়ার অপার ঈপ্সা
আমি হীন কিংবা ঊন
আমি বুঝি না কোন দুলালীর নিবিড় ভালবাসা।
আমি দীপ্তিমান,আমি মরিচা নই
আমি উগ্র বা হটকারী নই
আমি শাণিত অসির মত ঝংকার ছেড়ে
প্রদীপের মত দ্যুতি ছড়িয়ে দিতে চাই।
